Auxiliary and Volunteer Information

Jones Regional Medical Center Auxiliary

Jones Regional Auxiliary, comprised of more than 250 men and women from all over the county, promotes and advances the welfare of Jones Regional Medical Center. Its members do this through service to the hospital and its patients and through fundraising. The Auxiliary's main fundraisers include:

  • No-Bake Sale
  • Bratwurst Lunch Sale
  • Chicken & Noodle Luncheon
  • Holiday fundraisers

In recent years, the Auxiliary has supported the hospital by providing funds for an optical chair and for the renovation of the specialty clinics. Since its establishment in 1957, the Auxiliary has donated more than $96,000 for hospital needs. In 1994, the Auxiliary began a scholarship program in which it gives scholarships to a student from each of the four high schools in Jones County every year. The students must be planning to study a health care field.

Dues for the Auxiliary are $5 per year or $100 for a lifetime membership.

Inpatient Services
"I know that I wouldn't be walking and talking today if it weren't for the wonderful care I received at Jones Regional. I was an inpatient and couldn't have asked for a better stay. The care I received was wonderful, from the nurses, to the doctors, everyone. They really did all treat me like family. We really appreciate what we have here at home in Jones County."
